o Overall Co-ed Team (Elementary, Middle, and High School)
Team scores for each category are based on points earned by individual riders for his/her respective team. Top three riders from each team in each category score for the team—in both non co-ed categories and overall co-ed team categories. Varsity and Middle School A scores are weighted 20% more heavily than other categories.
All four races count. NO DROPPED races.
INDIVIDUAL SCORING //
16 CATEGORIES (EACH W/ LEADER’S JERSEY)
o Boys (Lower Elementary, Upper Elementary, Middle A, Middle B, Freshman, Sophomore, JV, Varsity)
o Girls (Lower Elementary, Upper Elementary, Middle A, Middle B, Freshman, Sophomore, JV, Varsity)
Individual points are awarded at each race. Individuals do not need a team to compete for individual honors. In each category, the rider with the highest point total is the Series Leader and wears Leader’s Jersey.
Overall individual scores are based on the rider’s results. Leader’s Jersey is worn by the rider with the highest point total at any given point during the season.
At the end of the season, the lowest score for each rider is dropped (including a DNF or DNS). 25 bonus points are awarded to each rider who finishes all 4 races.
